Health information : Aneurysm

Health information : Aneurysm - Aneurysm is a localized abnormal dilation of the blood vessels caused by a weakening of the walls of blood vessels. Although dilation of the blood vessels can hit vital organs, the most dangerous complication is rupture of the aneurism aneurysm increased in size when given. Aneurysms can occur in any artery, but the rupture of the aortic aneurysm or brain is usually fatal. Aneurysms are usually not detected clinically and was found accidentally or during breaks. But can lead to aortic aneurysms, deep chest pain, spread, or rarely, difficulty swallowing (pressure on the gallup) or hoarseness (pressure on a nerve) when grown bigger. Brain aneurysms can cause headaches.

Rupture of the aorta or brain aneurism usually fatal shock due to severe leakage of blood in the chest or abdomen and severe stroke caused by a brain hemorrhage, respectively.
If large quantities, can be detected as an abdominal aneurysm during the examination period. In contrast, ultrasound, CT or MRI of the chest or abdomen is needed to confirm the diagnosis. This investigation can also be used to monitor the size of the aneurysm from time to time to access the risk of rupture and operation time.
High blood pressure should be controlled to reduce the risk and spread of aneurysm rupture. Required surgery when the aneurysm reaches a certain size or spread rapidly, due to the high risk of rupture. Brain aneurysm is usually diagnosed when a rupture causing a stroke. Bloodletting promptly and aneurysm repair surgery is needed to save lives and minimize brain damage.
